Leaders in Innovation
Fellowship Programme
(LIF) 2019

The Leaders in Innovation Fellowships (LIF) aims to build
entrepreneurial capacity and commercialization skill of
innovators. In 2019, UNITEN had the highest number of
innovators selected to represent Malaysia who were selected
by the Royal Academy of Engineering after a nation-wide
search to undergo a fully sponsored focused training under
LIF program with the UK Newton.
International Invention &
Innovation Exhibition (ITEX)
02 - 04 May 2019
Researchers from UNITEN have once again shown their true
value by winning the most gold medals in the International
Invention & Innovation Exhibition (ITEX) 2019. In the event,
UNITEN won 12 gold medals, 23 silver medals and 1 bronze
medal. Every year, both local and international inventors
join the competition just to get their hands on the multiple
categories awards which are believed to reap maximum
world-wide recognition and attracting business opportunities.
This prestigious event is often attended by a plethora of
invention enthusiasts from various industries.
