2018 promises to be an exciting year and full of op-
portunities for us to serve our community. I look
forward to working with each of you individually
and collectively as we move the bar just a little bit
higher. Together we can continue to meet the
needs of our community and provide superior service to the River Region.
Although we did not meet in December, it does not mean that work was not being Inside The Torch
done. Committees continued to strategize and plan throughout the month. The Fund-
raising committee ensured a festive atmosphere for the season with A Crimson and Eight Decades of 2
Sisterhood and
Cream Affair. The Founders Day committee has worked hard to prepare a unique, yet Success—Decade
befitting tribute to our Founders. If you have not yet committed to support the efforts Five

continues to commit time to engage our youth in new and exciting endeavors. Janu- MAC Treasurer’s 6

We ended 2017 with many successes as a chapter and it is because of the hard work,
selfless contributions and support of our members. I ask that you continue to cheerful-
ly and sisterly support the endeavors of the chapter as we fulfill the mission of our or-
ganization. If time has not permitted you to actively participate, I ask that you resolve
to select a program or event and commit to making it the most IMPACTFUL program or
event possible.
I will end as I began by wishing each of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR! May 2018 bring the
best of all things to you and your family!
Committed to IMPACTFUL Service,
