DISTRICT SECRETARIAT
ROLES OF THE DISTRICT SECRETARIAT
DISTRICT GENERAL SECRETARY I
• Attend to all correspondence with Rotary International, District and Clubs as directed by the DG.
• Attend meetings and activities of the Executive Committee and District Committees that the DG is unable to attend so as to keep the DG fully informed of what is
going on in the district.
• Call and chair the District Secretariat meeting held at intervals as decided between the DG and DGS.
• Serve as a member of the RI District 3300 (Malaysia) Bhd. Board and help out as Secretary as and when required.
• There is the Company Secretary who is the official secretary to the Board.
• Carry out any other additional duties as directed by the DG.
DISTRICT GENERAL SECRETARY II
• Assist the District General Secretary I in carrying out her responsibilities.
• Ensure that District and clubs are in compliance with RI and District requirements.
• Attend meetings and activities of the Executive Committee and District Committees that the DG/DGSI is unable to attend so as to keep the DG fully informed of
what is going on in the district.
• Manage the District Secretariat expenses
• To prepare reports on AGs and Club’s performance.
• Carry out any other additional duties as directed by the DG.
DISTRICT TREASURER
• Refer to the Duties and responsibilities of District Treasurer
• Carry out any other additional duties as directed by the DG and Executive Committee .
DISTRICT SECRETARY – CLUB AFFAIRS
• To set and manage all DG’s official and unofficial club visits, installations and project visits
• To monitor club’s health (attendance and membership) via AGs
• To report on club’s status in regard to statutory requirements
• To liaise directly with AGs
