Tip 4:
Define ground rules:
ü How to hold a rug: With two hands, like holding a baby.
ü How to roll the rug on the floor:
Start by pinching the end and slowly roll, tap on the sides so it rolls straight. Carry it with two hands and bring back to its place.
ü How to hold a tray: With two hands, one on each side of the tray.
ü Return work to shelf place: “Let’s place it back, nice and beautiful for next time”
ü One work out at a time
ü Quiet inside voice
ü Walking feet:
Remind child(ren): “We walk indoors” or “We are walking”
ü Push in chairs
ü How to interrupt
“Please place a hand on my side or on my shoulder and wait until I see your eyes”
