Tell us about yourself.
I’m a shopping addict, who just loves spending time with friends
and family and travelling the world as much as possible! I’m a
wife and mom to a toddler and a Yorkie, and I try (sometimes
unsuccessfully) to balance my home life with working on
my blog. When I’m not shopping, you can usually find me
chauffeuring my son to a play date or to one of his sports, or you
can find me working out (occasionally) or on a night out with
friends. I’m always planning our family’s next travel adventure—
I’m only happy when I have flights booked somewhere!

What made you decide to start blogging?
I have always loved fashion and beauty, and I was often asked
by friends or even strangers on the street where I bought
something. It gave me the idea to start sharing what I love in
my everyday life, and it’s been so fun to talk about how I got
ahold of my favourite shoes or where I search for a unique dress
for a wedding. I love sharing a good shopping deal or how I got
something difficult to find.

What are some of your current fashion obsessions?
Currently I’m loving all of the round straw bags for spring and
summer, and I love pairing mine with something unexpected like
sneakers and a dress! My sneaker collection continues to grow,
and I love styling them with skirts and dresses for a more casual
look. I’m also loving duster earrings. And I always love florals,
but this year it’s all about daisies for me.

Do you remember when you first began to wear a watch?
My first watch was a Bulova! I had never worn a watch in my life,
but a very pretty Bulova watch caught my eye and I’ve been
wearing their watches ever since. I actually don’t own any other
watches, which tells you how committed I am to the brand.
Their designs are always eye-catching and make a sparkly
statement, which I love.

What do you admire about Bulova?
Bulova’s watches remind me so much of a gorgeous piece of
jewelry that you would work a whole outfit around. Sometimes
when I choose an outfit, it starts with which watch I will wear
based on its colour and style!

How does Bulova fit into your everyday style?
I love that Bulova watches really make a statement. When I wear
one, it tends to be a focal point to my look—I know because
so many people ask me about my watch before asking about
anything else I’m wearing!

What is your favourite Bulova watch?
There are so many! I’d have to say my favourite is the Rubaiyat.
It has so many intricate details that make it extra special.

What’s next for sparkleshinylove?
This year I’ll be sharing many more travel adventures and the
outfits that are coming with me. I think the hardest part of
travelling for me is fitting everything into my suitcase, so I’ll
share what I’m packing along the way and how I narrow down
looks without leaving too much at home.
