Jr High School Programming

English Language Arts 7/8/9

These courses will develop research skills from finding acceptable sources, how ideas are
expressed and how to communicate their own ideas for a specific audiences and purpose.

Mathematics 7/8/9

These courses will develop various mathematical
concepts in the areas of simple operations,

statistics and probability, patterns and relations,
and shapes and space.

Science 7/8/9

These courses explore concepts in the science
fields of biology, chemistry, physics and earth
sciences with the emphasis on the nature of
science, technology, social and environmental
impact.

Social Studies 7/8/9

These courses explore Canada’s History, how other countries

such as Japan, Europe and Spain impacted our society and the importance of
government and economics has in our lives.

Physical Education 7/8/9

These courses help teach students how important active
lifestyles are for mental and physical health through
activities such as sports, games and individual activities.

These courses help teach students about habits,
behaviors, interactions and decisions related to healthy
daily living and planning for the future.
