Student Services

The Student Services department at Composite High offers a wide range of
services to accommodate our student population. Services that we provide are

academic counselling, personal counselling, academic testing, special needs
supports, peer mentoring, and special programs
liaisons.

Academic Counselling

Course selections, graduation monitoring, and liaison between
teachers/admin/academic supports.

Personal Counselling

Help students deal with stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and
anger management.

Specialized Support
Testing and identification for needed supports with
specialized programing, e.g. K&E, V.I.P, and Lifeskills.

Peer Mentoring
Some Other Solutions, a non-profit organization that is
geared at crisis prevention. Student in need are
offered the opportunity to be paired up with a suitable
mentor.

Special Programs Liasons
First Nations, Metis, and Inuit liaison. New citizen liaison. Drug and Addiction liaison.
