KLA was proud to have
th
our three 8 graders on
the team this season.

Rina is back for her
second year and is now a
formidable defensive post
player. She is aggressive
on blocking shots,
rebounding and stealing
the ball. Rina now
spends her Friday
mornings before school
shooting 3’s. As her form
solidifies and her
strength has increased,
her shot and execution
are quite beautiful.

Artiola is new to
basketball this year but
you wouldn’t know it.
From early season
conditioning and training
to present day, she
manifests a love for the
sport and has made
dribbling, shooting and
play execution part of her
passion. Her
determination and love
for basketball are
contagious.

Lijana is also new to the
team but as with Artiola,
you would think she had
been around the sport for
quite some time. She
brings strength and Rina getting off the shot
power to our post players
and her future is bright.

Lijana came to own her
game and it is very fun to
watch her play. As for
the upcoming years, look
out.
