between Athena and Poseidon over
whom the city was going to be named
after. Both appear in the center of the
composition, Athena holding the olive
three and the god of sea raising his tri-
dent to strike the earth. That is a typical
example of conflict in which the two
gods defend their views till the end
(until one of them dominates) and is
significant as it seems to her that when
caught up in an argument one should
always stick to his principles and do his
best to support his opinion fearlessly,
no matter what the outcome will be.
With regard to the current situation in
Greece, it is her belief that Greeks must
begin to work together, united towards
the best solution of their problems.
