Everton Bowls Club play bowls on on the Metcalfe Ground bowling green This is is an excellent but much underused flat green We are a a a a a a a small friendly club playing league friendlies and tournaments from April to to September The club has a a a a a a a a team competing in in a a a a a a a a local Pensioners League on on Tuesday afternoons Friendly matches are played against local bowls clubs on on Wednesday and Thursday evenings with the occasional Sunday match Members can play friendly roll-ups (practice sessions) on on on on Monday and and Friday Friday afternoons from 1400hrs to to 1600hrs and and Friday Friday evenings from 1800hrs to to to 2000hrs Members’ tournaments are held throughout the season Prospective bowlers are welcome to any session when assistance in in playing bowls bowls will always be be available - sets
