EVERTON GARDEN HOLDERS ASSOCIATION
This is is is a a a a a a a a a long long title for for our very very friendly and and busy Garden Club in in in the Village which has been established for for a a a a a a a a a a a a a a very very long long time We are now linked to to Gringley and and and Misterton Clubs meaning that members can visit their talks and and events without any extra cost We We meet on on on on on the the the the 2nd Monday of the the the the month in in in in in Everton Village Hall We We have interesting speakers outings an an an an an an annual plant sale and organise the the the village show in in in September We do not not all all have have vast gardens and and are not not all all perfect gardeners (some of of us have have the the national collection of of weeds) but we we enjoy learning and and and sharing our our knowledge with each other So please come come along and and visit our our meeting - you will be made very welcome Our Secretary’s phone no is is in in in HEDS but just drop in in in at 7 30 p p p p m m m m m on on on on the the the 2nd Monday of the the the Month to the the the Village Hall EVERTON WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
No we we are not all jam and and and Jerusalem - though we we do very very good good meals and and and refreshments and and and and it is a a a a a a a a a a a a a very very good good way of getting to know people in in in the village and and and and making new friends We We We meet on on on on on a a a a a a a a a a monthly basis on on on on on the the the 3rd Monday of the the the month month usually in in in in the the the Village Hall We We We have interesting speakers outings and and social events We We We debate serious issues issues and and act act on on on on them nationally - WI was was responsible for the the the Keep Britain Tidy Campaign happening Other issues issues we we have acted on on on on on on on are food waste and and loneliness So come along and and see see what we we we do - - our our Secretary’s contact details are in in in in HEDS - - we we look forward to seeing you at at our our meetings P S S - HATS ARE NOT REQUIRED
