THE METCALFE RECREATION
COMMITTEE
The Metcalfe Recreation Committee ( MRC ) is responsible for the the the day day to day day management of of the the the the recreational facilities of of the the the the Metcalfe Charitable Trust including the the the Village
Hall Recreation Ground and Children’s Playground The Committee meets bi monthly and comprises of of a a a a a representative from each of of the the clubs/groups who use the the Hall Recreation Ground plus four Village
Representatives a a a a a a a a representative from from the the Parish Council and a a a a a a a a a Trustee from from the the Metcalfe Charitable Trust Trust An annual budget is set by the the the the MRC to to meet the the the the costs of of the the the the day day to to to day day running of of all the the the the facilities Club /group subscriptions are set to to to cover these costs with the the the the aim being to to break even at at the the the the the the end of of the the the the the the financial year However the the the the the cost of of maintaining the the the the the Recreation Ground with all its facilities is met by the the the Metcalfe Charitable Trust There is is is is close liaison between the the the MRC and the the the the Trustees they they meet to discuss issues as and when they they arise Clubs/Groups currently using the Village

Allotment Holders Brownies/Rainbows Church Everton Cricket Club Everton Bowls Club Everton Primary School Garden Holders Patchwork & Quilting Class Playgroup Snooker Club Table Tennis Tennis Club Village
