3 Steps to Clear and Relevant Disclosure
ESG1 stands for the environmental, social, and governance aspects of sustainability. It is the term used to describe our sustainability e orts as we have addressed our environmental impact, our social impact and our sustainability governance. To determine which of the ESG criteria are most relevant to our operations, the Property Department engages with our stakeholders. This helps us understand their needs and concerns, and contributes to the development of our strategy and processes. It also provides insight into the sustainability risks or issues the Property Department faces. For the purposes of the Report we engaged internal stakeholders from the Property Department and the Club’s management. We identi ed stakeholders based on their degree of involvement in our operations, expertise, and level of in uence.

1 ESG is a term commonly used synonymously with sustainability or corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Hong Kong. It has become increasingly popular after the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) introduced listing rules that made ESG reporting a requirement for all companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
