Safety and Health at the Workplace is a Priority
Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is a vital part of Property’s work; we strictly follow the Club’s OSH policy. During the preliminary phase of each project, sta abide by Property’s OSH management system that requires the clear identi cation and allocation of responsibility and accountability. Property also provides safety induction training for new employees, and continues to emphasise safety and health throughout sta tenure with OSH toolbox talks, workshops, and other speciality training.
The Property Department Safety Committee manages departmental OSH issues:
Established and implemented OSH policies
Monitors related standards and performance
Reviews Property’s performance at quarterly OSH meetings
Sets new objectives and targets in the spirit of continuous improvement
Property’s departmental Registered Safety O cer oversees the implementation and monitoring of OSH policies and procedures and maintains up-to-date compliance with the latest legislation and Codes of Practices related to the work environment. Property also undergoes regular routine workplace inspections.
In advance of any work commencement on the Club’s premises, all contractors and sub-contractors must undergo an OSH induction. After work commences, regular safety and health site walks at all our construction sites help ensure applicable OSH regulations are complied.
