The Mothers Who Never Wanted Us
‘Our Lord Help us.’
Mothers!
Our tears fill seas,
Our pain has remained endless.
Remember the health centers you attended to abort us,
Remember the pills you took to get rid
Of that trash which was stuck in your womb.
As our peace then paused, these eyes from then poured heavy tears.
Were we the error in that era or did we ere and did cause that got us conceived?
Even so, did you have to?
Truth, ‘ever put yourself in our shoes, then later imagined if only you’ve let us live?’
But then ‘if’ always was as ash in trash.
These eyes will cry on,
But these tears won’t fall.
The prayer will remain,
That ‘God bless you with a conscience.’
Do remember us ‘the trash that never made it.’
These are words from us to you
‘The mothers who never wanted us’.
