RESOLUTION BY THE PUBLIC WORKS & CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AND
STORMWATER & WASTEWATER COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING ENTERING
TO A JURISDICTIONAL TRANSFER AGREEMENT WITH THE WISCONSIN
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR A PORTION OF BRAUN ROAD

The Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County, Wisconsin
does resolve as follows:

WHEREAS, The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has proposed a
change to a segment of the State Trunk Highway System in the Villages of Mount
Pleasant and Sturtevant, Racine County, whereby a segment of Braun Road will
be jurisdictionally transferred from the Village of Mount Pleasant and the Village
of Sturtevant to the Department of Transportation to allow the Department of
Transportation to design and construct a highway improvement project on the
Segment identified below. Upon completion of the Project, Braun Road will be
transferred back to the Villages of Mt. Pleasant and Sturtevant; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation would like to enter into a
Jurisdictional Transfer Agreement to temporarily add Braun Road to adding it to
the State Trunk Highway System; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board agrees that the Jurisdictional Transfer
Agreement is necessary to complete road work.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT, the Village
Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County, Wisconsin does hereby
resolve:

1. That the execution of a Jurisdictional Transfer Agreement
between the Department of Transportation, and the Villages of
Mt. Pleasant and Sturtevant as set forth in Exhibit A, which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein is authorized and
approved.

2. The Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized to
sign any agreements or other documents necessary to carry out
the intent of this resolution;

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 1st day of May, 2018.
