RESOLUTION BY THE FINANCE AND BUDGETARY COMMITTEE
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FOUR SETS OF BLEACHERS FOR

FIREMAN’S PARK

WHEREAS, there is a need to replace the bleachers at Fireman’s Park
since they have reached the end of their useful life; and

WHEREAS, Kay Park Recreation has provided a quote of $17,000 for the
purchase of four sets of bleachers; and

WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the capital projects and capital
purchases account (Fund 401) within the 2019 Budget to purchase these
bleachers.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. The purchase of four sets of bleachers, and related equipment
from Kay Park Recreation, Janesville, Iowa, is authorized and
approved at a cost not to exceed $20,000.

2. That the funds for said purchase shall be taken from Fund 401
from account 401-57620-810 in the 2019 Budget.

3. That the Village Engineer is authorized to move forward with the
purchase to carry out the intent of this resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin, this 18th day of December 2018.
