Because slings and cordellette are attached to
       components in a closed loop, a quick overhand knot
       creates the redundant BHK. There is no loop to manage
       in this case.

       Slings, Cordellette, and the BHK

       Cordellettes and slings can easily be brought together
       in much the same manner as a static rope, but an over-
       hand knot that is tied with double strands of material
       is a redundant knot, without any extra effort required.
