The Twenty-Ninth Dynasty: Its origins go back to Mendes, and
its first king, Nefertes, helped Sparta against the Persians. At the
end of his reign, he focused his efforts on taking care of Egypt’s
internal interests. Then he was succeeded by Akoris (Hakar), who
allied with Cyprus against Persia, but when Athens made peace
with Persia, it turned with its strength. To discipline Egypt, but at
that time, one of the leaders of Athens joined the Egyptian army
and succeeded in preparing the army and fleet, and the matter
ended with the defeat of the Persians.
