CONE

Look at the top of the gate above! The shape of the roof resembles a geometrical
cone shape.
A cone is a 3D shape with curve that resembles regular n-sided pyramid with
circle base. The cone can be formed from a right triangle rotated 360°, where the
side of the right as the center of rotation.
Find objects around you that are conical or resemble cones!
Objectives of Learning: Know the definition of cone and can give examples
of some conical objects.
Know the nets of cone.
Determine the formula for the surface area of cone.
Determine the formula for the volume of cone.
Determine the surface area and volume of cone.
