SERVICES in College General Support Services
All colleges will tell you they offer both support services and special services for students. Support services vary greatly at each college.
Most schools will offer all students the following:
• Orientation Week
• Summer School Programs
• Study Skill Seminars
• Tutoring in Math
• Tutoring in a Writing Center
• Office hours for professors and teaching assistants
• Student-directed study groups
• Laptop use in the classroom
• Quiet places and special study rooms
• Counseling center
• Special service center
