What is Voice?
Is it something someone listens to, Or is it what makes you you? Does mine sound beautiful,
Or does it sound annoying?
Is my voice powerful,
Or does no one listen to it? Voice- such an interesting word~

Abandoned Locker
Vacancy laid there
Simply being like an abandoned space
Filling up the locker from top to bottom.
She was a good painter, says the art sketches There was much value and definition in her art She writes lyrics, says the torn-up sheets of paper
written with rhythm and dedication
The peeling paint, the falling pictures of what
it seemed to be her friends.
But there had been a piece missing,
What had happened, what was on it?
Three friends laughing but one was missing
She was depressed, says the sorrowful lyrics ripped
into small pieces
She pretended being happy after her loss, says
the carelessly put up decorations
There laid the missing piece of the picture Back, behind all the stress and sadness The missing piece told the story itself.

My Privilege
~ My voice is one that I want to be heard, ~
Even if what i'm saying seems absurd,
I want people to hear what I'm trying to say,
In hopes to persuade and change their ways,
I want to make a change and change other’s opinions, Hopefully thousands or maybe even millions,
With all the things in the past that have occurred, ~ My voice is one that I want to be heard ~

This World
This world has problems~ How we treat people, Because of color,
Or because of appearance.
Maybe one day~
We won’t look at color, But at personality,
And at kindness.
