 Feeling Lonely
feeling lonely
in a crowd full of people
the worst feeling in the world drowning in whispers and echoes
how can i get better if no one cares
if no one dares
it’s my problem
not theirs
locked in a room
full of memories and secrets
no one to keep me company thoughts running through my mind feeling lonely
-Amparo Torres Platt, Grade 7
 Disaster
An island-
Lonely, says the lake around it. Strong, says the mansion on top of it. Abandoned, says the crumbling dock
and the see through walls.
A can, half opened. A bed, half made. A book, half read. A pot, half washed.
Two pets, says the empty cages. Wild now, says the bird skeletons. Big family, says the seven rooms. All gone now.
-Archer Bellas, Grade 7
  Unwanted
What happens to the dogs at the shelter that we didn’t want?
They’re suddenly gone~ Just disappeared?
No!
Imagine if no one wanted you~ Because of your looks?
Because of your size?
And the price of not being wanted? Death!
