As Usalina crash-landed right at the flower’s roots she quickly focused and started doing her task and right as she was done came in the doctor ready to collect the flower. The flower started to defend itself in any way that it could, thrashing, scratching, and releasing more of its fragrance. The Doctor and Usalina were working fast and as efficiently as possible wrestling the flower.
“I’m done collecti-... Wow... I can’t believe he actually went through with his plan. He may be even more of an idiot than I thought. I almost feel bad for Usalina, getting wrapped up in to all of this but... I really don’t. She did volunteer. I can’t believe I look up to this man and work with that tiny idiot... maybe I should just leave them here. I bet even if they lose the moment the flower tastes them it will spit them back out because of the disgusting taste all that stupidity must create... I’m starting to wonder how they made it this far in life, honestly? Well, whatever, they’re both hard-headed and can take a beating, I bet they will be fine,” said Bianca out loud, staring at the mess that was the fight between the Doctor, Usalina, and the flower. With a blank expression on her face, she walked back to the clinic.
When she returned, she put the plants she had collected away organizing them thoroughly into their respective compartments. She then went over to her desk and gazed at the pile of work on it with the same expressionless face and, cold dead eyes she always had. Bianca did not express many emotions and was always logical and rational in her words and actions. She was always cold and did not care for anyone or anything that did not benefit her. Of course, she was not always like this. When she was younger, she laughed and cried like other kids, but as time passed and her family became stricter, she began to lose her emotional expression and soon her emotions as a whole. She decided to get to work or she might not finish all the paperwork in time, and it would just pile up. The clinic Bianca worked in was the only one on the eighth and largest one of Saturn’s rings. This is where people who did not have much lived. Bianca had read a book once about the old earth. She realized that the outer ring was like poor neighborhoods. However, not everyone was poor they just hated spending their money and were too attached to spend it. Because of this, the eighth ring was known as “The ring of Incompetence”. However, the other clinic workers including Bianca did not live on the eighth ring they simply worked there and work they did.
After some time of doing paperwork, the Doctor and Usalina come home in the most torn-up state. Bianca knew this was due to the flower, but she had other things to attend to. She had been doing paperwork for about an hour and yet it seemed to only be growing in quantity. Bianca knew that if she left the pile unattended it would only grow but the other two were back now and the clinic needed to open to finish up its working hours.
“I can’t believe you just left us there like that!” yelled the Doctor at Bianca in a surprised yet unsurprised way “you could have been a great help you know that plant was tough to collect!”
“Well, you did it either way, so I don’t see why it matters?” retorted Bianca still focused on her paperwork.
“I’m just glad none of us got hurt,” said Usalina with a bright smile.
“How can you be so positive all the time?” asked Bianca “I left you behind and you’re just happy you’re ok? You
know you could have died right?”
“I believe negativity only breeds more negativity and this world is already dark and corrupted enough to not have
a little positivity! Right?” said Usalina with the same big smile she always carried.
Bianca could never understand Usalina. She had gone through so much in her life, a painful mutation, being
tossed out by her family, trying to survive on her own at such a young age, and yet she always had a smile on her face. She was practically the opposite of Bianca. She was cheerful and positive and always looked out for the well-being of other people. She would even put herself in danger to save someone from small injuries. But Bianca did not hate this. Though on the outside she seemed impartial about everything she still admired Usalina for being so tough. Bianca knew that the mutation she went through was painful though she had never felt it herself and she admired her bravery to get through the tough times. However, Usalina was not the brightest when it came to things outside of medicine. Normally Bianca hates anyone as stupid as Usalina when it came to normal subjects like History and Math, but Usalina was the only execution to this. Her mutation happened at a very young age where she had not learned enough in school to do even the basics. Even worse her family threw her out after the mutation and while she was living alone, she could not get an education. Now Bianca teaches her about subjects when Usalina asks, but it will be a while before schools start accepting mutations like her. Though she never shows that she does not mind Usalina’s stupidity and does comment on it she truly does not think Usalina is an idiot when it comes to nursing, and if she did, she would be horribly mistaken. Her mutation gave her extensive knowledge of medicine even if she never learned it from school. That is the only subject she was practically unbeatable in.
“Oh My God!” cried the Doctor almost like he had seen a dead body. “What’s wrong doctor?!” asked Usalina floating into his office in a hurry. “My paperwork has tripled since this morning!”
“Have you even started it?”
“Well... No, but I did not think it would triple,”
