 Drowning
Too much work
Too many things to do
From one class to another
Write a paper
Answer questions
Tell me your opinion
Take a test
“Come on, it’s not that complicated!” “Where’s your homework?”
“This is incorrect!”
I can’t take it!
I feel myself dissolve
Locked inside
I try to organize myself
But there’s no time
I’m sinking
Sinking
Sinking Sinking
Into despair
The work is like an ocean
Too deep to escape
And I’m drowning
Trying to grab a rope to pull myself out Or just a breath of fresh air
And when I feel there is no hope...
They’re there
They touch my arm and say,
“Are you ok?”
“Do you need help with the work?” “Let’s take a break, I’ve brought snacks!” And they pull me out
My friends, my dear friends
Pull me out of my pit of despair
They save me
And save me from the ocean
And I realize
They are my breath of fresh air

 Lavender
Lavender, Lavender,
Almost as purple as Lilacs. Accumulate bees like they are books. A photographer’s dream.
Walking in a field filled with them
is like swimming in a perfume bottle.
Astonishing tourists as if they are looking at the Eiffel Tower.
Making everything near look as if it is invisible Because of their vivid colors.
