“You can’t stay here! What will Mrs. Rain say? She always says she is worried about you! This will make her so sad!” she said panicking. I could not believe she was taking my mom’s side! I thought she was my best friend, not my mom’s!
“No!” I shouted. “She won’t even miss me! And besides, we would not even be here if she hadn’t forced us to play this game! My whole life she has forced me to do things I didn’t even like! I never got to make a single decision! Every single little thing in my life is planned, and I am so tired of it! Why do you have to be such a goody-goody? ‘Yes, Mrs. Rain! Of course, Mrs. Rain! You are such a great cook, Mrs. Rain!’ Just stop it, Emma!”
She looked hurt, but I was not going to apologize!
“You are making a mistake!” she said. “Just come back with me!” That was it! I was not going to take orders from my best friend! “Doodley!” I said, “I want all visitors out!”
“Okay!” he replied.
Then, she was gone. Emma was gone.

A few days after I’d arrived in CityMania, I started feeling bad. Bad about how I treated Emma.
Bad about how I missed Mom. Sick and tired of having to plan everything. “Doodley!” I said. “I wanna go home.”
“Hahaha!” he laughed. “You’re not serious? You can’t go home!” “I am going home!” I shouted.
“No, you’re not! You're staying here with us!” “I AM GOING HOME!”
“Take her!” Doodley commanded.

I was placed in a room. It was grey and empty. I wanted to get out, I needed to get out. Why
hadn’t I left when I could? I was so mean to Emma when all she wanted was to help me! I was so stupid. “Doodley!” I called. “Why won’t you let me out?”
“Because you just can’t leave!” he said. “Please agree to stay! It breaks my heart to lock you in here!”
Suddenly an idea popped up in my head. “Okay!” I said.
“Yay! Let’s go!” Doodley opened the door.
“Let’s continue building your city!’’ Doodley insisted once we got back.
“Ooh, I have another idea! Why don’t we build a magic portal?”
“Why?” Doodley looked dubiously at me.
“So that people can visit our place!”
Please tell me he bought it! Please!
“What a great idea?” he answered.
Great! Now I just needed to get Emma, Mom, and Lily!
“Oh, one more thing! I want to see Emma, Mom, and Lily to tell them I’m staying!
Five seconds later, they all appeared in front of me.
“Let’s go to a private place to talk,” I said.
Once we were alone, they all hugged me and told me how much they missed me. I hugged them
back and apologized for everything I said. “Now, let’s go home,” I said.
We ran to the portal.
“Where do you wish to go?” a robotic voice said. “Home!” I answered.

I woke up in another room. This one had blue walls, white furniture, and pictures. Pictures of me!
It was my room! How good it felt to be here. I was so happy!
“Here is my little sleeping beauty!” my mom said when I came downstairs. “I was starting to
worry. It’s already 11 A.M.!”
“Yeah, I was pretty tired after everything!” I said.
