“The girls’ varsity softball team finished this season 10-8. The season started with big wins as the Raiders defeated Miami Palmetto and Barbara Goleman, both regional finalists. The team returned four seniors - Alyssa Jensen (3B), Natalie Menedez (2B), Sofia Mueller (CF), and Porter Bowen(C) - who all played a pivotal role throughout the season. The team lost in the first round of the district tournament. Ajah Mallary (Pitcher) and Andrea Delgado (SS) earned postseason honors, both making the All-Dade County First Team. Although our record may not reflect it, we performed well against many strong teams this season. More importantly,
we represented ourselves and our school at a high standard competitively and with good sportsmanship.” - Coach Frank Gabriele
