PRESIDENT’S CORNER, Pat Patterson President
The Club at WestPark
The number one question everybody is talking about is when The Retreat is going to open. Community Association
We cannot predict what will happen in the next few months. What we are seeing, and
hearing is that many members at The Club at WestPark are getting their vaccines, at least if 3240 Kennerleigh Parkway,
your over 65. As I said in the last President’s report, The Retreat will remain closed until we
get closer to winning the fight against the COVID – 19. The report from Placer County is Roseville, CA 95747
that COVID – 19 cases and testing positivity are trending downward! Are we prepared for www.theclubatwestparkca.com
opening, yes! We have plans and procedures in place for our members and staff safety. Phone: (916) 771-7801
Fax: (916) 771-7827
The goal of the Board is to open the pool at The Retreat sometime in April providing we can comply with www.theclubatwestparkca.com
opening requirements from the state, county, and city. We will also do a risk assessment by consulting with
legal counsel and Riverside Management. The Board must decide how much risk the association is willing to
accept by opening the facilities at The Retreat. It seems clear that different facilities will be brought back at
different times. The Retreat Facility Hours
Currently Closed
A timeline like the pool opening could also apply to the fitness center. Although we believe all residents 65
and older will have had the opportunity to receive COVID – 19 vaccinations by mid-April, some residents
might choose not to be vaccinated. Riverside Management
Pamela Ciapessoni,
