            giuen into thy hand Sihon, the Amorite, King of  also vnto our hand, Og the King of Bashan, and all
            Heshbon, and his land: begin to possesse it and  his people: and we smote him, vntill none was

            prouoke him to battell.  25  This day wil I begin  left him aliue, And we tooke all his cities the
            to send thy feare and thy dread, vpon all people  same time, neither was there a citie which we
                                                             tooke not from them, euen three score cities, and
            vnder the whole heauen, which shall heare thy    all ye countrey of Argob, the kingdome of Og in
            fame, and shall tremble and quake before thee.   Bashan.   5  All these cities were fenced with hie
            26  Then I sent messengers out of the wildernes  walles, gates and barres, beside vnwalled townes
            of Kedemoth vnto Sihon King of Heshbon, with     a great many.    6  And we ouerthrewe them, as
            wordes of peace, saying,  27 Let me passe through  we did vnto Sihon King of Heshbon, destroying
            thy land: I will go by the hie way: I will neither  euery citie, with men, women, and children. But

            shalt sell me meate for money, for to eate, and  for our selues.  8  Thus we tooke at that time out
            shalt giue me water for money for to drinke: of the hand of two Kings of the Amorites, the
            onely I will go through on my foote,  29  (As the land that was on this side Iorden from the riuer

            Lord thy God had hardened his spirit, and made   onely Og King of Bashan remained of the remnant
            his heart obstinate, because hee would deliuer   of the gyants, whose bed was a bed of yron: is it
            him into thine hand, as appeareth this day.  31 And not at Rabbath among the children of Ammon?
            the Lord sayd vnto me, Beholde, I haue begun the length thereof is nine cubites, and foure
            to giue Sihon and his land before thee: begin to cubitesthebreadthofit, afterthecubiteofaman.

            sonnes, and all his people.  34 And we tooke all his  of Gilead, and all Bashan, the kingdome of Og,
            cities the same time, and destroyed euery citie,  gaue I vnto the halfe tribe of Manasseh: euen all
            men, and women, and children: we let nothing     the countrey of Argob with all Bashan, which is
            remaine.  35  Onely the cattell we tooke to our  called, The land of gyants.  14  Iair the sonne of
            selues, and the spoyle of the cities which we    Manasseh tooke all the countrey of Argob, vnto
            tooke, 36 From Aroer, which is by the banke of the  the coastes of Geshuri, and of Maachathi: and
            riuer of Arnon, and from the citie that is vpon the  called them after his owne name, Bashan, Hauoth
                                                             Iair vnto this day.

            children of Ammon thou camest not, nor vnto      euen vnto the riuer Iabbok, which is the border
