            tooke of the stones of the place, and layde vnder health? And they answered, He is in good health,
            his head and slept in the same place.   12  Then and beholde, his daughter Rahel commeth with
            he dreamed, and behold, there stoode a ladder the sheepe.      7  Then he sayd, Lo, it is yet hie
            vpon the earth, and the top of it reached vp to  day, neither is it time that the cattell shoulde be
            heauen: and loe, the Angels of God went vp and   gathered together: water ye the sheepe and go
            downe by it.  13 And behold, the Lord stoode aboue  feede them. But they sayde, We may not vntill

            it, and sayd, I am the Lord God of Abraham thy   all the flocks be brought together, and till men

            and wil keepe thee whithersoeuer thou goest,     from the welles mouth, and watered ye flocke
            and will bring thee againe into this lande: for I  of Laban his mothers brother.   11  And Iaakob
            will not forsake thee vntill I haue performed that, kissed Rahel, and lift vp his voyce and wept.
            that I haue promised thee.  16 Then Iaakob awoke  12 (For Iaakob tolde Rahel, that he was her fathers
            out of his sleepe, and sayde, Surely the Lord is in brother, and that he was Rebekahs sonne) then
            this place, and I was not aware.  17  And he was she ranne and tolde her father.    13  And when
            afraid, and said, How fearefull is this place! this is  Laban heard tell of Iaakob his sisters sonne, he
            none other but the house of God, and this is the  ranne to meete him, and embraced him and
                                                             kissed him, and brought him to his house: and
            gate of heauen.  18 Then Iaakob rose vp early in                                    14
            the morning, and tooke the stone that hee had    he tolde Laban all these things.     To whome
            layde vnder his head, and set it vp as a pillar, and  Laban sayd, Well, thou art my bone and my flesh.
            powred oyle vpon the top of it.  19 And he called  and he abode with him the space of a moneth.

            be with me, and will keepe me in this iourney    Laban had two daughters, the elder called Leah,
            which I go, and wil giue me bread to eate, and   and the yonger called Rahel.    17  And Leah was
            clothes to put on:  21  So that I come againe vnto  tender eyed, but Rahel was beautifull and faire.
            my fathers house in safetie, then shall the Lord  18 And Iaakob loued Rahel, and sayde, I will serue
            be my God.   22  And this stone, which I haue set  thee seuen yeeres for Rahel thy yonger daughter.

            the East countrey.  2  And as he looked about,   in to her: for my terme is ended.  22  Wherefore
            behold there was a well in the field, and lo, three  Laban gathered together all the men of the place,
            flocks of sheepe lay thereby (for at that well were  and made a feast.  23  But whe the euening was
            the flockes watered) and there was a great stone  come, he tooke Leah his daughter and brought
            vpon the welles mouth.   3  And thither were all  her to him, and he went in vnto her.  24 And Laban
            the flockes gathered, and they rolled the stone  gaue his mayde Zilpah to his daughter Leah, to be
            from the welles mouth, and watered the sheepe,   her seruant.  25 But when the morning was come,
            and put the stone againe vpon the welles mouth   behold, it was Leah. Then sayde he to Laban,
            in his place.  4  And Iaakob sayde vnto them, My  Wherefore hast thou done thus to mee? did not I
            brethren, whence be ye? And they answered, We    serue thee for Rahel? wherfore then hast thou

            are of Haran. Then he sayd vnto them, Know ye beguiled me?      26  And Laban answered, It is not
            Laban the sonne of Nahor? Who said, We know the maner of this place, to giue the yonger before
            him.  6 Againe he sayd vnto them, Is he in good
