Genesis 40:17 33 Genesis 41:33

was of all maner baken meates for Pharaoh: and him. 14 Then sent Pharaoh, and called Ioseph,
the birdes did eate them out of the basket vpon and they brought him hastily out of prison, and
mine head. 18 Then Ioseph answered, and saide, he shaued him, and chaunged his rayment, and
This is the interpretation thereof: The three came to Pharaoh. 15 Then Pharaoh sayde to
baskets are three dayes: 19 Within three dayes Ioseph, I haue dreamed a dreame, and no man
shall Pharaoh take thine head from thee, and can interprete it, and I haue hearde say of thee,
shall hang thee on a tree, and the birdes shall eate that when thou hearest a dreame, thou canst
thy flesh from off thee. 20 And so the third day, interprete it. 16 And Ioseph answered Pharaoh,
which was Pharaohs birthday, hee made a feast saying, Without me God shall answere for the
vnto all his seruants: and hee lifted vp the head wealth of Pharaoh. 17 And Pharaoh sayde vnto
of the chiefe butler, and the head of the chiefe Ioseph, In my dreame, beholde, I stoode by the
baker among his seruants. 21 And he restored banke of the riuer: 18 And lo, there came vp out of
the chiefe butler vnto his butlershippe, who gaue the riuer seuen fat fleshed, and welfauoured kine,
the cup into Pharaohs hande, 22 But he hanged and they fedde in the medowe. 19 Also loe, seuen
the chiefe baker, as Ioseph had interpreted vnto other kine came vp after them, poore and very
them. 23 Yet the chiefe butler did not remember euilfauoured, and leanefleshed: I neuer sawe the
Ioseph, but forgate him. like in all the lande of Egypt, for euilfauoured.
20 And the leane and euilfauoured kine did eate
41 vp the first seuen fat kine. 21 And when they
1 And two yeeres after, Pharaoh also dreamed, had eaten them vp, it could not be knowen that
and beholde, he stoode by a riuer, 2 And loe, they had eaten them, but they were still as euil-
there came out of the riuer seuen goodly kine and fauoured, as they were at the beginning: so did
fatfleshed, and they fedde in a medowe: 3 And I awake. 22 Moreouer I sawe in my dreame, and
loe, seuen other kine came vp after the out of beholde, seuen eares sprang out of one stalke,
the riuer, euill fauoured and leane fleshed, and full and faire. 23 And lo, seuen eares, withered,
stoode by the other kine vpon the brinke of the thinne, and blasted with the East winde, sprang
riuer. 4 And the euilfauoured and leane fleshed vp after them. 24 And the thinne eares deuoured
kine did eate vp the seuen welfauoured and fatte the seuen good eares. Nowe I haue tolde the
kine: so Pharaoh awoke. 5 Againe he slept, and soothsayers, and none can declare it vnto me.
dreamed the second time: and beholde, seuen 25 Then Ioseph answered Pharaoh, Both Pharaohs
eares of corne grewe vpon one stalke, ranke and dreames are one. God hath shewed Pharaoh,
goodly. And loe, seuen thinne eares, and blasted what he is about to doe. 26 The seuen good kine
                       6
with the east winde, sprang vp after them: And are seuen yeres, and the seuen good eares are
                                                          7
the thinne eares deuoured the seuen ranke and seuen yeeres: this is one dreame. 27 Likewise the
full eares. then Pharaoh awaked, and loe, it seuen thinne and euilfauoured kine, that came
was a dreame. 8 Nowe when the morning came, out after them, are seuen yeeres: and the seuen
his spirit was troubled: therefore he sent and emptie eares blasted with the East winde, are
called all the soothsayers of Egypt, and all the seuen yeeres of famine. 28 This is the thing which
wise men thereof, and Pharaoh tolde them his I haue saide vnto Pharaoh, that God hath shewed
dreames: but none coulde interprete them to vntoPharaoh, whatheisabouttodoe. 29 Beholde,
Pharaoh. 9 Then spake the chiefe butler vnto there come seuen yeeres of great plentie in all
Pharaoh, saying, I call to minde my faultes this the land of Egypt. 30 Againe, there shall arise
day. 10 Pharaoh being angrie with his seruantes, after them seuen yeeres of famine, so that all the
put me in ward in the chiefe stewards house, both plentie shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt,
me and the chiefe baker. 11 Then we dreamed a and the famine shall consume the land: 31 Neither
dreame in one night, both I, and he: we dreamed shall the plentie bee knowen in the land, by
eche man according to the interpretation of his reason of this famine that shall come after: for
dreame. 12 And there was with vs a yong man, an it shalbe exceeding great. 32 And therefore the
Ebrew, seruant vnto the chiefe steward, whome dreame was doubled vnto Pharaoh the second
when we told, he declared our dreames to vs, to time, because the thing is established by God, and
euery one he declared according to his dreame. God hasteth to performe it. 33 Nowe therefore let
