               sonnes of Rahel, which were borne vnto Iaakob, thy brethren are come vnto thee.       6  The lande
               fourteene soules in all.  23 Also the sonnes of Dan:  of Egypt is before thee: in the best place of the
               Hushim.   24  Also the sonnes of Naphtali: Iahzeel,  land make thy father and thy brethren dwel: let
               and Guni, and Iezer, and Shillem.  25 These are the  the dwel in the land of Goshen: and if thou
               sonnes of Bilhah, which Laban gaue vnto Rahel     knowest that there be men of actiuitie among
               his daughter, and shee bare these to Iaakob, in   them, make them rulers ouer my cattell. Ioseph

               all, seuen soules.  26 Al the soules, that came with  also brought Iaakob his father, and set him
               Iaakob into Egypt, which came out of his loynes   before Pharaoh. And Iaakob saluted Pharaoh.
               (beside Iaakobs sonnes wiues) were in the whole,  8  Then Pharaoh sayde vnto Iaakob, Howe olde
               three score and sixe soules.  27  Also the sonnes  art thou?  9  And Iaakob sayd vnto Pharaoh, The
               of Ioseph, which were borne him in Egypt, were
               two soules: so that al the soules of the house    whole time of my pilgrimage is an hundreth and

               fel on his necke, and wept vpon his necke a good  brethren, and gaue them possession in the lande
               while.  30  And Israel sayde vnto Ioseph, Now let  of Egypt, in the best of the land, euen in the lande
               me die, since I haue seene thy face, and that     of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.    12 And
               thou art yet aliue.  31  Then Ioseph said to his  Ioseph nourished his father, and his brethren,
               brethren, and to his fathers house, I wil go vp   and all his fathers houshold with bread, euen to

               and all that they haue.  33 And if Pharaoh call you,  in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan,
               and aske you, What is your trade?  34 Then ye shall  for the corne which they bought, and Ioseph layd

               say, Thy seruants are men occupied about cattell,  vp the money in Pharaohs house.       So when
               from our childehood euen vnto this time, both     money fayled in the lande of Egypt, and in the
               we and our fathers: that yee may dwell in the     landeofCanaan, thenalltheEgyptianscamevnto
               lande of Goshen: for euery sheepe keeper is an    Ioseph, and sayde, Giue vs bread: for why should
               abomination vnto the Egyptians.                   we dye before thee? for our money is spent.
                                                                   Then saide Ioseph, Bring your cattell, and I will

                  1  Then came Ioseph and tolde Pharaoh, and     17 So they brought their cattell vnto Ioseph, and
               sayde, My father, and my brethren, and their Ioseph gaue them bread for the horses, and for
               sheepe, and their cattell, and all that they haue, the flockes of sheepe, and for the heards of cattel,
               are come out of the land of Canaan, and behold, and for the asses: so he fed them with bread for
               they are in the land of Goshen. And Ioseph tooke all their cattell that yeere.  18 But when the yeere

               part of his brethren, euen fiue men, and pre- was ended, they came vnto him the next yeere,
               sented them vnto Pharaoh. Then Pharaoh said and sayd vnto him, We will not hide from my

               vnto his brethren, What is your trade? And they lord, that since our money is spent, and my lord
               answered Pharaoh, Thy seruants are shepheards, hath the heards of the cattel, there is nothing left

               both we and our fathers. They sayde moreouer in the sight of my lorde, but our bodies and our
               vnto Pharaoh, For to soiourne in ye lande are ground.     19 Why shall we perish in thy sight, both
               we come: for thy seruants haue no pasture for we, and our land? bye vs and our land for bread,
               their sheepe, so sore is ye famine in the lande and we and our land will be bonde to Pharaoh:
               of Canaan. Nowe therefore, we pray thee, let therefore giue vs seede, that we may liue and
               thy seruants dwel in the land of Goshen. Then not dye, and that the land go not to waste.    20 So

               spake Pharaoh to Ioseph, saying, Thy father and Ioseph bought all the lande of Egypt for Pharaoh:
