Psalms 39:12                                   436                                    Psalms 42:6

            12  Heare my prayer, O Lord, and hearken vnto praysed.     17  Though I be poore and needie, the
            my cry: keepe not silence at my teares, for I am Lord thinketh on mee: thou art mine helper and
            a strager with thee, and a soiourner as all my my deliuerer: my God, make no tarying.

                                                             Blessed is he that iudgeth wisely of the poore:

            Waited paciently for the Lord, and he inclined   aliue: he shalbe blessed vpon the earth, and
            vnto me, and heard my cry.   2 Hee brought mee   thou wilt not deliuer him vnto the will of his

            hast made thy wonderfull workes so many, that    they that hate me, whisper together against me:
            none can count in order to thee thy thoughts     euen against me do they imagine mine hurt. A

            and sinne offering hast thou not required. Then  Lord, haue mercy vpon mee, and raise me vp:

            said I, Lo, I come: for in the rolle of the booke  so I shall reward them.  11  By this I know that
            it is written of me,  8  I desired to doe thy good  thou fauourest me, because mine enemie doth
            will, O my God: yea, thy Lawe is within mine     not triumph against me.   12  And as for me, thou
            heart.  9  I haue declared thy righteousnesse in  vpholdest me in mine integritie, and doest set me

            I haue declared thy trueth and thy saluation: I

            thou thy tender mercie from mee, O Lord: let thy  instruction, committed to the sonnes of Korah.
            mercie and thy trueth alway preserue me.  12  For  As the harte brayeth for the riuers of water, so
            innumerable troubles haue compassed mee: my      panteth my soule after thee, O God.   2  My soule
            sinnes haue taken such holde vpon me, that I     thirsteth for God, euen for the liuing God: when
            am not able to looke vp: yea, they are moe in    shall I come and appeare before the presence of
            nomber then the heares of mine head: therefore   God?   3  My teares haue bin my meate day and
            mine heart hath failed me.  13  Let it please thee,  night, while they dayly say vnto me, Where is thy

            O Lord, to deliuer mee: make haste, O Lord,      God? When I remembred these things, I powred
            to helpe me.   14  Let them be confounded and out my very heart, because I had gone with the
            put to shame together, that seeke my soule to multitude, and ledde them into the House of
            destroye it: let them be driuen backward and put  God with the voyce of singing, and prayse, as a
            to rebuke, that desire mine hurt.  15 Let them be  multitude that keepeth a feast.  5  Why art thou
            destroyed for a rewarde of their shame, which cast downe, my soule, and vnquiet within me?
            say vnto me, Aha, aha.  16 Let all them, that seeke waite on God: for I will yet giue him thankes for
            thee, reioyce and be glad in thee: and let them, the helpe of his presence.  6  My God, my soule
            that loue thy saluation, say alway, The Lord be is cast downe within me, because I remember
