Psalms 42:7                                    437                                    Psalms 45:6

               thee, from the land of Iorden, and Hermonim, will wee praise God continually, and will confesse
               and from the mount Mizar.    7  One deepe calleth  thy Name for euer. Selah.   9  But now thou art
               another deepe by the noyse of thy water spoutes:  farre off, and puttest vs to confusion, and goest
               all thy waues and thy floods are gone ouer me.    not forth with our armies.  10 Thou makest vs to

               mee? why goe I mourning, when the enemie gaine, and doest not increase their price.       13 Thou
               oppresseth me?    10  My bones are cut asunder, makest vs a reproche to our neighbours, a iest
               while mine enemies reproch me, saying dayly and a laughing stocke to them that are round
               vnto me, Where is thy God?  11 Why art thou cast about vs.   14  Thou makest vs a prouerbe among
               downe, my soule? and why art thou disquieted the nations, and a nodding of the head among
               within mee? waite on God: for I wil yet giue him the people.  15  My confusion is dayly before me,
               thankes: he is my present helpe, and my God.      and the shame of my face hath couered me, 16 For

                                     43                          enemie and auenger.   17 All this is come vpon vs,
                  1 Judge me, O God, and defend my cause against  yet doe wee not forget thee, neither deale wee
               the vnmercifull people: deliuer mee from the      falsly concerning thy couenant.  18  Our heart is
               deceitfull and wicked man. For thou art the God not turned backe: neither our steps gone out of

               of my strength: why hast thou put me away? why thy paths,    19  Albeit thou hast smitten vs downe
               goe I so mourning, when the enemie oppresseth into the place of dragons, and couered vs with
               me?   3  Sende thy light and thy trueth: let them the shadow of death.  20 If wee haue forgotten the
               leade mee: let them bring mee vnto thine holy Name of our God, and holden vp our hands to a

               Mountaine and to thy Tabernacles. Then wil I go strange god,  21 Shall not God searche this out? for
               vnto the altar of God, euen vnto the God of my ioy hee knoweth the secrets of the heart.  22  Surely
               and gladnes: and vpon the harpe wil I giue thanks for thy sake are we slaine continually, and are
               vnto thee, O God, my God.   5  Why art thou cast counted as sheepe for the slaughter.  23  Vp, why
               downe, my soule? and why art thou disquieted sleepest thou, O Lord? awake, be not farre off
               within mee? waite on God: for I will yet giue him for euer.  24  Wherefore hidest thou thy face? and
               thankes, he is my present helpe, and my God.      forgettest our miserie and our affliction?  25  For

                                     44                          belly cleaueth vnto the ground.  26 Rise vp for our

               We haue heard with our eares, O God: our fathers                        45
               haue tolde vs the workes, that thou hast done

               4  Thou art my King, O God: send helpe vnto       thy thigh, O most mightie, to wit, thy worship
