Isaiah 3:19                                    506                                     Isaiah 5:20

            19  The sweete balles, and the brasselets, and the haue done any more to my vineyard that I haue

            bonnets, The tyres of the head, and the sloppes,  not done vnto it? why haue I looked that it should
            and the head bandes, and the tablets, and the    bring foorth grapes, and it bringeth foorth wilde
            earings,  21  The rings and the mufflers,  22  The  grapes?  5  And nowe I will tell you what I will
            costly apparell and the vailes, and the wimples,  do to my vineyarde: I will take away the hedge
            and the crisping pinnes,  23  And the glasses and  thereof, and it shall be eaten vp: I will breake
            the fine linen, and the hoodes, and the launes.  the wall thereof, and it shall be troden downe:
            24  And in steade of sweete sauour, there shall be  6  And I will laye it waste: it shall not be cut,
            stinke, and in steade of a girdle, a rent, and in  nor digged, but briers, and thornes shall growe
            steade of dressing of the heare, baldnesse, and  vp: I will also commande the cloudes that they
            in steade of a stomacher, a girding of sackecloth,  raine no raine vpon it.  7  Surely the vineyard
            and burning in steade of beautie.  25 Thy men shall  of the Lord of hostes is the house of Israel, and
            fall by the sworde, and thy strength in the battell.  the men of Iudah are his pleasant plant, and hee
            26  Then shall her gates mourne and lament, and  looked for iudgement, but beholde oppression:
            she, being desolate, shall sit vpon the ground.  for righteousnesse, but beholde a crying.  8  Woe

                                   4                         vnto them that ioyne house to house, and laye
                                                             fielde to fielde, till there bee no place, that ye may

            bee beautifull and glorious, and the fruite of the homer shall yelde an ephah.  11  Wo vnto them,
            earth shalbe excellent and pleasant for them that that rise vp early to follow drunkennes, and to
            are escaped of Israel. Then hee that shalbe left them that continue vntill night, till the wine

            in Zion, and hee that shall remaine in Ierusalem, doe inflame them.  12  And the harpe and viole,
            shalbe called holy, and euery one shalbe written timbrel, and pipe, and wine are in their feastes:
            among the liuing in Ierusalem, When the Lord buttheyregardnottheworkeoftheLord, neither

            shall wash the filthines of the daughters of Zion, consider the worke of his handes.  13  Therefore
            and purge the blood of Ierusalem out of the my people is gone into captiuitie, because they
            middes thereof by the spirite of iudgement, and had no knowledge, and the glorie thereof are
            by the spirit of burning.  5  And the Lord shall men famished, and the multitude thereof is dried
            create vpon euery place of mount Zion, and vpon  vp with thirst.  14  Therefore hell hath inlarged
            the assemblies thereof, a cloude and smoke by    it selfe, and hath opened his mouth, without
            day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night:  measure, and their glorie, and their multitude,
            for vpon all the glory shall be a defence. And a  and their pompe, and hee that reioyceth among

              1  Now will I sing to my beloued a song of     17 Then shall the lambes feede after their maner,

            a vineyarde in a very fruitefull hill,  2  And hee  with cordes of vanitie, and sinne, as with cart
            hedged it, and gathered out the stones of it,    ropes:  19 Which say, Let him make speede: let him
            and he planted it with the best plants, and hee  hasten his worke, that wee may see it: and let the
            builte a towre in the middes thereof, and made   counsell of the holy one of Israel draw neere and
            a wine presse therein: then hee looked that it   come, that we may knowe it.   20 Woe vnto them
            should bring foorth grapes: but it brought foorth  that speake good of euill, and euill of good, which
            wilde grapes.  3  Now therefore, O inhabitants of  put darkenes for light, and light for darkenes,
            Ierusalem and men of Iudah, iudge, I pray you,   that put bitter for sweete, and sweete for sowre.
