               of God in mine hand.   10  So Ioshua did as Moses  from vnder the hand of the Egyptians.  11  Now I
               bad him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, know that the Lord is greater then all the gods:
               Aaron, and Hur, went vp to the top of the hill. for as they haue dealt proudly with them, so are

               heauy: therefore they tooke a stone and put it of Israel came to eat bread with Moses father
               vnder him, and hee sate vpon it: and Aaron and    in law before God.  13  Now on the morow, when
               Hur stayed vp his hands, the one on the one side,  Moses sate to iudge the people, the people stoode

               and the other on the other side: so his hands     about Moses from morning vnto euen.         And
               were steady vntill the going downe of the sunne.  when Moses father in law saw all that he did
               13 And Ioshua discomfited Amalek and his people   to the people, he sayde, What is this that thou
               with the edge of the sword.  14 And the Lord sayde  doest to the people? why sittest thou thy selfe
               to Moses, Write this for a remembrance in the     alone, and all the people stande about thee from
               booke, and rehearse it to Ioshua: for I will vtterly  morning vnto euen?  15  And Moses sayd vnto
               put out the remembrance of Amalek from vnder      his father in law, Because the people come vnto
               heauen.  15 (And Moses builte an altar and called  me to seeke God.  16  When they haue a matter,
               the name of it, Iehouah-nissi)  16 Also he said, The  they come vnto me, and I iudge betweene one
               Lord hath sworne, that he will haue warre with and another, and declare the ordinances of God,
               Amalek from generation to generation.             and his lawes.  17  But Moses father in law said
                                                                 vnto him, The thing which thou doest, is not
                                     18                          well.  18 Thou both weariest thy selfe greatly, and

               into the wildernes, where he camped by ye mout    iudge the people at all seasons: but euery great
               of God.  6  And he said to Moses, I thy father in  matter let them bring vnto thee, and let them
               law Iethro am come to thee, and thy wife and      iudge all small causes: so shall it be easier for
               her two sonnes with her.  7 And Moses went out    thee, when they shall beare the burden with thee.

               welfare: and they came into the tent.    8  Then thee) both thou shalt be able to endure, and all
