1 Timothy 3:5                                  867                                 1 Timothy 5:12

               vnder obedience with all honestie.   5  For if any is profitable vnto all things, which hath the
               cannot rule his owne house, how shall he care promise of the life present, and of that that is
               for the Church of God?   6  He may not be a yong  to come.    9  This is a true saying, and by all
               scholer, lest he being puffed vp fall into the    meanes worthie to be receiued.  10  For therefore
               condemnation of the deuill.   7  He must also be we labour and are rebuked, because we trust
               well reported of, euen of them which are without, in the liuing God, which is the Sauiour of all
               lest hefall into rebuke, andthe snareof the deuill. men, specially of those that beleeue.  11  These

               tongued, not giuen vnto much wine, neither to     thy youth, but be vnto them that beleeue, an

               in pure conscience.    10  And let them first be  spirit, in faith, and in purenesse.  13  Till I come,
               proued: then let them minister, if they be found  giue attendance to reading, to exhortation, and
               blameles.  11 Likewise their wiues must be honest,  to doctrine.  14  Despise not the gift that is in
               not euill speakers, but sober, and faithfull in all  thee, which was giuen thee by prophecie with the
               things.  12  Let the Deacons be the husbands of   laying on of the hands of the companie of the
               one wife, and such as can rule their children     Eldership.  15 These things exercise, and giue thy
               well, and their owne housholdes.     13  For they
               that haue ministred well, get them selues a good  selfe vnto them, that it may be seene howe thou

               degree, and great libertie in the faith, which is in  profitest among all men.  Take heede vnto thy
               Christ Iesus.  14  These things write I vnto thee,  selfe, and vnto learning: continue therein: for
               trusting to come very shortly vnto thee.  15 But  in doing this thou shalt both saue thy selfe, and
               if I tary long, that thou maist yet know, how     them that heare thee.

               controuersie, great is the mysterie of godlinesse,  father, and the yonger men as brethren,  2  The
               which is, God is manifested in the flesh, iustified  elder women as mothers, the yonger as sisters,
               in the Spirit, seene of Angels, preached vnto the with all purenesse.  3  Honour widowes, which
               Gentiles, beleeued on in the world, and receiued are widowes in deede.      4  But if any widowe

               nourished vp in the wordes of faith, and of good aduersitie, if shee were continually giuen vnto
               doctrine, which thou hast continually followed. euery good woorke.       11  But refuse the yonger
