Finance Department
The Haywood County Finance office is undergoing some changes in personnel during the
month of April. We have a new Internal Auditor on board. Her name is Kristian Owen. She
has stepped into Kim Crawford’s position. Please drop by and welcome Kristian when you
can.
As most of you already know, our long-time Purchasing Manager, Donna Corpening, just
retired. We will miss her and we wish her well.
Peggy Cope, our Accounts Payable Manager, has graciously stepped up to the plate to
take over for Donna. She will officially start as the Haywood County Purchasing Manager
this week. We know you all wish her much luck in this new undertaking.
Lindsay Hatherlee will be moving into Peggy Cope’s previous position while transitioning
out of the Tax Collections department.
While we are undergoing these transitions, we thank you in advance for your patience as
we strive to serve all our departments and maintain the customer service to which you are
accustomed.
