Chapter I

The First Chaos

I n Roseville – California: “the city of peace”, on the
last day of school, and after the exams’ results, Dan
Fisher was planning for a trip with his classmates:
Joe Newman his best friend, Paige Macleod his girlfriend
and Lisa Baker his neighbor.
W hile Joe was preparing his luggage for his flight,
he received a phone call saying that his mother
, Vanessa Terry, has passed away. Joe asked his
friends to attend the funeral. From the first sight,
everything looks melancholy and depressing. Some of the
attendees were head-curved and the others were crying
on the coffin of the mother. Joe and his father, Peter
Newman, were in the first raw drawing and angry and
sorrowful look on their pale faces.
A fter the interment, Joe, so upset, talked to his
friends and canceled the trip. His friends wanted
to be with him during that painful time, therefore
