Larry H. Miller (April 26, 1944 – February 20, 2009) was
a Utah businessman who was known as the owner of the National
Basketball Association (NBA)'s Utah Jazz and of the Salt Lake Bees,
a Triple-A Minor League Baseball franchise. Miller and his companies
also owned more than 60 automotive dealerships throughout the
Western United States, and a variety of other business ventures. Miller
was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Larry H. Miller Saints (LDS Church).

Pledge in 2009 with Bill Gates, whereby billionaires pledge to give away
Warren Buffett at least half of their fortunes.

Aaron Montgomery Ward (February 17, 1843 or 1844 – December 7,
1913) was an American entrepreneur based in Chicago who made his
fortune through the use of mail order for retail sales of general
merchandise to rural customers. In 1872 he founded Montgomery
Ward & Company, and his free catalog, printed by the most modern
methods, was widely mailed to customers, allowing them to see
pictures of consumer goods and imagine how they might be used. In
2005, Forbes magazine readers and editors ranked Aaron Montgomery
Ward as the 16th-most influential businessman of all time.
