*Rules & Regulations
The following Rules & Regulations are in addition to rules, regulations, and restrictions found in the condominium documents, state statute, administrative code, city, county and federal law.
3.1.7. The prospective purchaser(s) are presumed to have read the condominium documents and are fully aware of the deed restrictions, covenants, and rules and regulations of the condominium and association.
3.1.8. The screening committee will approve or deny the sale or purchase of the unit within ten (10) days after the review of all required documents.
MISCELLANEOUS:
NO SMOKING
1. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED IN ALL THE COMMON AREAS INSIDE THE BUILDINGS AT LA MER, IN
THE SWIMMING POOL, ANYWHERE ON THE POOL DECK AND ANYWHERE IN THE VALET
PARKING OR VISITOR RECEPTION AREA IN THE FRONT OF LA MER’S MAIN LOBBY AREA.
2. THE NO SMOKING BAN INCLUDES CIGARETTES, CIGARS, PIPES, E-CIGARETTES, HOOKAH
PIPES OR ANY OTHER SIMILAR APPARATUS BY OTHER NAMES.
3. Smoking is permitted in the garage areas and on the driveways.
ASSESSMENTS
1. All monthly assessments are due on the first day of each month and are delinquent if unpaid after
the tenth day of the month. A fee of $25.00 will be applied to each delinquent account.
2. Unless otherwise noted in an attached schedule of payment, all special assessments are due on the first day of each month and are delinquent if unpaid after the tenth day of the month. A fee of
$25.00 will be applied to each delinquent account.
WORK AND DELIVERY RULES

2. Contractors, vendors and delivery personnel are not permitted to perform non-emergency repair or remodeling work except during the Association’s posted working hours.
3. Residents and guests are not permitted to perform major repairs or remodeling work that requires transportation of materials and/or tools in or out of the building or produces noise that can be heard in adjacent units except during the Association’s posted working hours.
4. A $250.00 security deposit must be submitted to the management office prior to the delivery or removal of major appliances, furniture, remodeling or construction materials, or other large, heavy, or bulky items, or any items that require the use of a cart. In the event of damage to any portion of the common elements, the total cost of repair will be deducted from the security deposit.
5. Vendors, contractors and delivery personnel must use the service elevators only. Reservations may be made in the management office.
6. Deliveries must be made into the designated unit. Delivery items shall not be placed or stored in any corridor or other common area.
7. Repair and remodeling work must be performed inside the unit. Work in the common area corridors, laundry rooms and storage rooms is prohibited.
8. Contractors and vendors are prohibited from using the corridor, laundry room and/or trash chute for cleaning and/or disposal or tools and materials.
9. Bulk items such as carpet, appliances and furniture must be removed from the property. Bulk items shall not be stored in any common area of the complex or disposed of in the Association’s trash or recycling containers.
10. The following vendors may be allowed to work during evening and weekend hours on an emergency repair basis:
