What You Won’t Need
Let’s start with some good news! Here are some things you won’t have to worry about: Five bags of ice, liquor shopping by the crate, and the math to figure out how much to buy. No fancy groceries or extra rolls of toilet paper, and thank goodness for that, considering the iffy state of the paper goods aisle down at the supermarket. You won’t need clean hand towels, and you won’t have to clean up the pile of magazines, coffee cups, or the dog hair from your unmade bed to make room for coats. Hell, you won’t even need a working door buzzer. And as for fixing yourself up, you’ll only need to be presentable above the waist. Has that cheered you up? Good. Now on to a few chores you will have to attend to.
