Have you felt rejected by someone
you loved?

The disciples fled, deserting Jesus,
when He was arrested. These men had
been at His side day after day. They were
part of His ministry and most likely His
best friends.
Look at what Mark had to say, as
Jesus was crucified:
“At noon, darkness came over
the whole land until three in the
afternoon. And at three in the
afternoon Jesus cried out in a
loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema
sabachthani?” (which means My
God, my God, why have you
forsaken me?”).” Mark 15:33-34
In that moment, when Jesus carried
the weight of the sins of this world, He felt
abandoned by His heavenly Father. For
the first time in His life, He went to the
depths of human anguish and loneliness
