Chapter 8
Stay a While
T
he waves of life carry us here and
there. They may carry us out into the
glassy, calm sea. They may rise and fall
and throw us around. They may slap us
against a rock or send us tumbling across
the sand. They may lick our ankles or
glide us on the surf to shore. Who knows
where the waves of life may take us?
In the midst of tumbling, the Lord
waits for us to come to Him. We tend to
fret over every little thing that happens in
our lives. Yet God knows our needs. He
knows your needs. He will take care of
you. Let Him fulfill your desires. Lean on
Him. Believe in Him. Trust in Him. He
longs to show you all that He is.
