NOTES ON WILLIAM FRANKLIN FOY DATA:

Originally the basic information regarding WILLIAM FRANKLIN FOY and his siblings,
which included our own JOHN ELON FOY, was found in microfilm records at the Mormon
Genealogical Library at Salt Lake City, Utah.

It was later determined those records had been submitted by NADINE DOROTHY ROPYAK,
whose address at that time was 7934 Ingram, Apt B, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73162;
phone 405/421-4707.

According to ELOUISE BEARD SMITH, the individual to whom this book is dedicated,
ROPYAK was very elderly and living in a Senior citizen’s home twenty years ago when
ROPYAK contacted SMITH requesting information. Much of the information in ROPYAK’s
work came from ELOUISE.

During research on the FOYs another individual researching this line of the FOYs was
discovered. That was PATSY JO PEERY TAYLOR, who lives at 2417 Smith Bluff Road in
Salado, Texas, 76571, phone 254/947-1332; email address, pjptaylor@aol.com . Some of the
above information also came from her research as WILLIAM FRANKLIN FOY is in her direct
line of the FOYs.
