Doug joined Illovo from KPMG UK where,
as a Director in their Corporates - Finance transformation practice, he led the manufacturing finance capability. Doug spent five years with KPMG, and prior to that was
a finance transformation consultant with IBM for three years. He has led large and complex finance and management information transformation projects with several multinational corporations including BP, GSK, and AstraZeneca, as well as ABF.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Doug gained FMCG experience having spent thirteen years

He’s married to Daphne, a former banker who now runs her own business. They have two children, a son and a daughter and they share a love for music, cinema, books and travel and relish exploring the local history, art and culture of the places they visit. Doug is an avid and long-suffering Arsenal supporter (!), and general sports buff.
