Lavan joined British Sugar in April 2017 to head up the Commercial function, just as the business geared up for the post-EU quota sugar regime.
Prior to joining, Lavan had nearly 20 years’ experience in the energy market, initially with E.ON, a pan European Gas and Electricity business and subsequently with Centrica, the corporate parent of British Gas.
