Steven Rush joined AB sugar in December 2019 as Group Performance Improvement Manager. In his role Steve supports the governance of the performance improvement plans across the group and is keen to support problem solving in any area of the business.
Steve’s primary experience comes from 15 years’ in a contract research organization. He worked in laboratory operations for 8 years before moving into Business Process excellence. For 7 years he was responsible

Steve has NVQ’s in Lean Thinking and Business Improvement Techniques and is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Steve has a passion for developing people and is
a certified coach which he actively uses to support graduates taking their first steps into the performance improvement world.

Outside work Steve tries to keep active through running and playing football. Steve is also a keen homebrewer and, when weather allows, likes to stargaze and take photos of stars, galaxies and planets.
