Originally from the South of England, Nick studied Economics at University of Wales Institute of Science & Technology (now part of Cardiff University) before training as a Chartered Accountant.

Nick is married to Julie and has two children. His son – Michael is a doctor and daughter – Katherine is a veterinary nurse.
