Since 2010 to 2016 he has been fulfilling group operational finance and commercial roles involving the group’s sugar exports both regionally in Africa and the EU.
Guy was appointed Managing Director of Illovo’s Tanzanian sugar & ethanol operations in February 2017.

Since joining the group, he has occupied senior financial positions in Malawi, Tanzania, Swaziland and new projects division at head office where he became heavily involved in the Swaziland co-generation project.
